Tough decision with A7 nut flush + inside wheel draw

Hero: $850 Villian $1150 Cards dealt to hero: As7s Hero limps from LP button raises to 20. BB and Hero call. Flop comes 2s3s5c. Hero checks Villian bets 60 Hero reraises to 250 then Villian pushes 900 more (700 to call). What do you do? And what do you put the Villian on? |

unless my math is wrong you are a favorite of KK and almost tied with AA. You my only be a slight favorite but it is time to gamble.

is this a heads up game? and you have 580 behind, getting 270+700=970:580=1.67:1, i think with 12 outs on flop, since he has an over pair or a set most of the time, maybe 15 outs, you can call here pretty easily

Yes that's what I thought too but to my surprise I called and he turned over 66 no spade. Turn 4c river Ad. I was still ahead 53/47 making the correct call how many people are going to put you all in with no spade there.

If you feel like gambling call, but I think you should lead and 3-bet A/I here...If your not raising this hand in LP you should just fold, limping is too weak.

In this case, I think the limp induced the bad overbet by villian on the flop. I think Ax suited has too much stack potential to try and settle for winning the $9 blinds by raising. Same with small pocket pairs; I prefer limping with these hands hoping to hit a monster and taking home a lot more than blinds. |
