Default poker leverage

so... your risk tolerance is a very important factor in your play, the ability to avoid tilt etc.

so.. just wondering..

how big is your bank roll to your total net worth?

You should've subdivide the 10% for the older crowd here. I'd say I have no more than 2% or so and I play 100NL.

However that doesn't make me more likely to donk off, I will not add to my roll from non poker sources.

Define networth. Is it the amount of money set for poker or the amount of money won overall?

Since my net worth is basically negative when everything is added up it is effectively infinite.

As a percentage of liquid assests it is something like 20%.

As a percentage of yearly income it is something like 5%.

The money is all completely separate, and I don't really regard bankroll as money. All the money used to seed the live and online bankrolls was paid back some time ago.

60-80%, just b/c of barmitzvah money.

If it wasn't for that, it would be over 90%

This question should get vastly different answers from people in different stages of thier lives. My poker BR is somewhere south of 0.01% of my total net worth (as far as my accountant is concerned), and it has nothing to do with my risk tolerance, which is very high.

You need to be more clear about exactly who you are asking this question.

I'm older, I've got a job, and for me poker is just for [censored] and giggles. At this point, my $100NL bankroll is significantly less than 1% of my net worth.

Why you kiddies grow up, you'll be in the same boat.

(Bar mitvah money....sheesh!)
