Default Windows XP System Restore Question

I have not been able to do my restore for the last week or so. I have tried multiple dates and have not found one that I can use. Is there anything else I can do?

that happened to me...maybee a virus, trojan thingy(I had something called Smit Fraud a trojan)...I used the system erasing feature and reinstalled my HP software...ok after that(save your favorites to Yahoo storage(briefcase)

and on my new year old, E machines, i had my wireless mouse not responding I also couldn't get my word program to work...
I erased the info and used the system recovery Cds again...and it workes fine...spybot SD pointed out the Smit Fraud trojan

I have 4 anti spyware programs and AVG anti virus...and things are running fine... I wonder if Russians or N Koreans or arab terrorists are behind these viruses..

good luck
