Default .25/.50 is so loose

i dropped down in limits so as to fix my game...again. and now i am about to move up from .25/.50 to .50/1.00. The %ages that see the flop are much smaller at these limits in general and are actually starting to look more like 1/2 and 2/4 and >. I hate to say it but I am a bit concerned about moving up because I have grown used to playing in 55%-75% games. [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

.25/.50 on UB is a stinkin' rock garden. When I do session reviews for people that play on other sites I get very jealous.

.25/.50 is really loose. I'm enjoying it and feel the exact same way as you do. I've observed a few tables at .50/1.00 and it is significantly tighter. I here that Party has some really loose .50/1.00 games though. I might just build my bank roll playing .25/.50 and then take my money to Party.

I'd recommend against this. Sure, when you get $500 do play party for the initial signup and then just go back for reloads. I wont play there without a bonus. Maybe its cos I play offpeak but the games there are sucky. You are better off tramping all around the internet being a bonafide bonus whore. There are much better 0.5/1 games to be had elsewhere..seriously.

do tell where they are? I was kinda under the impression that .50/1.00 on party was pretty damn loose. Thats the lowest limit they have so the idiots have no choice but to reload and get reamed over and over rather than drop down, buy a book and improve

Off-topic. Which sites are best bonus whoring while playing 0.5/1.0? Coz it seems it's very hard to clear bonus at most sites in this limit.

Party $.50-1 is my primary site for a long while. I can vouch for sure that it has grown sooooo much tighter in the past year or so. Too many people read the darn forums, i guess Very little difference between $1-2 and $0.50-1 on Party, IMHO. It's tough to find a loose passive game, sometimes you get a LAG or two at the table, but that's as far as it goes. If there is a juicy table, yu need to get in line behind 15 people.

As far as some of the wildes loosest games I have seen - try BoDog. The traffic is not nearly as heavy as Party, but there are always tables going at micro. 50-75% to the flop is pretty common. I don't enjoy these agressive crapshoots, personally, but that's just me.

I'm still pretty much in the aquarium with the rest of the tetras, but I've been playing .50/1 on Party for about 3 months, and have yet to find a table that averages more than 3 people seeing the flop. I'm also seeing preflop raises about 50% of hands. FWIW, YMMV, etc.
