Default Stud8: Too Laggro?

Should I just call fifth?

The 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] brings in, the 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] folds, the 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] folds, the 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] completes, I raise with (5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img])A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], the J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] folds, the bring-in folds, and it's heads up.

4th:
Me: (5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img])A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Him: (xx)4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I bet he calls.

5th:
Me: (5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img])A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Him: (xx)4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

He bets, and I raise.

If you brick, are you taking a free sixth? If so, I like.

I havent looked on twodimes but I think this is good stuff. My first instinct is that he has two pair, or a low draw, or some combo or both. Three fours seems unlikely. The only problem here that I think that sink your hand is that you have a rough low draw and that you may be up against a better low draw. Even then though you could pair any card in your hand...but then showing down UI becomes a bitch.

This is fine. I would love a fifth raise if your 7 was a 2-4 so that your low draw would be better than his too, but the raise is still fine as is. Too lazy to twodimes, but a four flush with an Ace/King and a 4 low has to be a favorite over a 4 low and crappy pair. If he has trips, oh well.

Very close decision on calling or raising 5th. From an equity standpoint a raise may be a bit superior to a call (definitely would be the way to go multiway), but I like the deception that a call gives you heads up. If you catch favorable very likely get paid off by as little as 2 pair and a missed low on 6th and 7th.

I don't get it... we are either even money or a slight dog...unless we are really sure we can get a free card and possibly pick up some extra bets those times we catch I don't see what there is to like

He gave him the best of each type of hand he could have. You'll run into (85)434 as well here.
