Personally Im still a little sketched out about this bet.... because at that cost its not worth obtaining people info like someone posted on here.... the only way it could be worth it for them is if 50% of people who come stay at that site for a few deposits or continue to gamble using the casino and poker room as well as the sportsbook....if that is the case and it does work then it is a brilliant marketing campaign but i just dont know.

That post about people info was utter nonsense. Why would a site give a risk free bet for 1100 when they could do it for 110 if they wanted info?

If you dont have the $ or the stones for this steelers bet fine but creating or supporting theories about "buying people for $450" or along those lines is idiotic. How would someone get purchased by making a risk free football bet?

For starters they don't need "50%" of the people to stay for it to be profitable. 1 big time bettor can easily drop 100K plus in say 3 years. So your numbers are a little off. (that'd cover 200 people's EV)

plus tons of people like myself, now have accounts there, I'll probably "try" their poker room, and I'll bet there or WSEX if I ever feel like betting a sports game. not cause their the cheapest or the best site, but because I'll have accounts at both of those places already and I know they're legit.

Also they've already done a similiar promotion like this before. So I bet they have some sort of idea how much attention this will draw/ cost them.

Like I said before, if this was a tiny casino I might opt to not do it. But A.) mansion is huge, they have the poker dome show, the owner is a gazillionaire B.) they've already done this promotion and paid when the team loss....

to me the chance of mansion not paying or something is like .001%

Blowup doll, i agree 100 percent. To the people who don't want to do this, thats your right and your choice. However, if pitts doesnt cover the number, the owner has all these people who now have accts there and it didn't cost him a pennie as the money will be refunded like the bets were never placed. If pitts does win the bet, mansion has probably hedged there bet at another book somehow. Ill tell you this, if he can drive people to his casino and poker rooms and get alot of action there he will end up the big winner in this. Sometimes, people with a ton of money will spend and spend to get the end result. In fact, theres an owner in sports who does this, he owns the yankees.

They don't care about people who can afford to deposit $110, they care about people who can afford to deposit $1100.

I don't think it's about personal info at all, 90% of people would give them standard info for $25.
