poker office-boot up

Finally purchased some poker software, ended up with poker office. Sort of off topic but I have alot of start programs I guess. When I check the taskbar, it shows 62 processes. Is there a way to view each process and/or what gets booted up when I start the computer. I'm sure I must have some junk in there that doesn't need to be running.
