Thank you Michael Bay. After seeing this, I already know my favorite toys from childhood past will now become my worst nightmare in a film. On a random note, Autobots had blue eyes, and Decepticons had red eyes.

These could be one of many different drafts of what he will look like.

If I remember correctly they were just normal robots until they crashed and were awoken on Earth and then decided to set up the tranforming option to stay covert.

That actually makes more sense, since he was the leader of a pack of jets(Starscream, etc). I did always think turning into a gun was pretty lame. I owned Megatron but always wanted Optimus Prime but he was too expensive.
