September goals?

I haven't seen a September goals thread yet, so I decided to start one. If there is a thread already and my search skills are not properly functional, feel free to berate me for it. [img]/images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img]


My goals for the month of September:
1. Finish reading Tournament poker for advanced players.
2. Pick up No Limit Hold'Em: Theory and Practice using my PokerStars FPP's.
3. Read said No Limit book.
4. Use my new NL Tourney knowledge to participate in some larger tournaments.
5. Play 6k hands of 0.50/1.00 6-max.
6. Achieve said goal in (5) while maintaining at least 1BB/100.
7. Try to find more time to help my fiancee with school.
8. Take a daytrip somewhere to get away from things.

1. Play 5000 hands.
2. Play live at least twice.
3. Finish reading Hold'em for Advanced Players.
4. Read SSH again.
5. Stick around the forums this time, instead of taking another "break," like I usually do.
6. Actually do the forum stuff that will help me improve my game (grunch, post, session reviews, etc...) instead of just reading for entertainment.
7. Berate people more frequently [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

1. Take a trip to a casino to get in some live play
2. Read King Yao's book
3. Don't play any donkaments
4. Get my WtSD to atleast 28%
5. Get an A in a SQL class I am taking

1. Play as much poker as is humanly possible before school starts on Sept. 30.
2. Take a shot at the 10/20 game at my B&M. Here's my plan: I will buy in to the 5/10 with my normal 25BB and when I build a stack to around 40BB, I will move to the 10/20 game so that it will be a sort of free roll.
3. Finish reading HPFAP.
4. Get to the gym at least a few times because I'm seriously out of shape.

2. 5k hands of 10/20 6 max in the black
3. Team up with titaholic for 10/20 play review and sweat sessions
4. Read the Little Green Book.
5. If I still have more time for poker, then get back to 100 NL and apply learning from LGB.
6. Finish all my coding, simulations, and calculations on current system.
7. Have everything conform to my hypothesis.
8. Get a draft of my presentation for my qualifier done.

Edit: Oh, and 9. Figure out something fun to do after my qualifier.

1) finish SSHE for the 5th time.
2) Read ToP for the second time.
3) Start HEFAP.
4) Play 2K hands. I single table most of the time.

1. Stop losing all my monies to NL donks calling my best-of-it pushes and hitting their two-random-soooted-cards flush draws. (Baby can't eat Sklansky bucks.)

2. Read HOH Vol. 2; play in a few more donkaments.

3. Prepare for the influx of dead money as college students return to school.

4. Record more of my songs, get them up on MySpace, become a rock star.

2. Finishing my ToP notes and re-reading SSHE while simultaneously doing notes about it
3. Reading NLHTAP and considering the possibility of trying to benefit from NL fish ponds.
4. Exercise, exercise.
5. Starting to seriously study again

Like last month one main goal:

Play solid profitable poker at $1/$2 for the entire month.
August was good, but I'll feel better if I can have 2 in a row.

Secondary:
-Read HEPFAP again and this time really study it. The first read (maybe 2) I wasn't ready for this one yet so I study SSH instead. I think I'm ready to pick up HEPFAP again though.
-Post more and more hands
-Clear at least 2 bonuses
-Find time to participate in a session review
-Try to find time to play at a B&M for the first time during my business trip this month
