effect of aggressive players at table
just hoping to get some advice about adjustments to my game when there are 2 or 3 aggressive players (say, roughly, VPIP 20-25, AF 2.5-3.5 and PFR 20-30) at the table, along with 1 or 2 big fish. i know i need to tighten up my hands a bit, especially when my fish aren't in, but are there other adjustments to be made? i feel like on one hand, i should stay in more hands, as their tendency to bet and raise won't always represent as strong of hands as someone who has around a 1 AF. but then of course i get slaughtered when i'm beat.
just tighten up? |

Re: effect of aggressive players at table
I'm sure there are some books that cover this thoroughly, but essentially this is where I see table position being more important. Ideally you'll want to have the fish to your right and TAG's to your left.
You should then try to isolate yourself and the fish by knocking the TAG's out of hands with raises. Don't loosen up, but maybe reduce your raising standards. |

the player with a VPIP ceiling of 25 but a PFR ceiling of 30 must be one aggressive mofo.
