Default $3 Stealing from a short stacked BB

Sorry, no explicit hand, but a few sample situations:

Blinds 100/200

UTG (2000) folds
UTG+1 (2000) folds
CO (2000) folds
BUTTON(2000) folds
HERO (4000) J6s
BB (800)

I have generally been stealing via a big raise in this case and SnGPT confirms that this is correct.

What about the case where I am on the button with a big stack, the SB is also a big stack, but is tight, and the BB is shortstacked? I probably don't want to go with an all in steal here (seems to be -EV according to SnGPT), but would a raise large enough to put the BB all in be the way to go?

My thinking is that the BB will be forced to go all in with almost any two cards, allowing me the chance to pick up their stack. Even if I lose, I'd still be chip leader.

Too risky? Thoughts or comments?

Post more specific hands. And obviously, this is a turbo-push.

Alright, here is an example of the second case:

UTG (2000) folds
UTG+1 (2000) folds
CO (2000) folds
HERO (4000) Q7s
SB(4000)
BB (800)

According to SnGPT not a push (and I definitely see why). So what's my line? Raise to 800 and check down if the SB comes along (barring flopping a monster)? How bad a hand would you be willing to put the BB all in with here?

You have Q7s and 20 BB, your line is: Fold.

Thanks AJ, figured I was trying to get too fancy.
