Default I\'m Jake and I\'m a wuss - 100NL 6max

EDIT: Villain has 90 and I cover.

I don't know a ton about villain at the time of this hand, but I have a feeling he's kinda laggy.

I have TPTK and a gutshot here, but what's my play? I don't like calling - although looking at the hand now it looks like it might be the best play - and I only get a fold from a hand I crush if I raise. Raising is also really expensive since he almost potted the flop. This felt (and probably was) super weak when I did it, but I was really unsure of where I stood and just didn't feel like pushing back at villain was a good idea. Fix me?

These spots suck, but this is a bit weak. I doubt you are against a big hand because most players don't lead into the pf raiser with 2 pair or better. This seams like a defensive bet, with like a K 6, K 9, yada. Definately doesn't look like a made straight. Call or raise? It depends, against unknown, I probably raise. Against known maniacs, I call with intentions of calling down to the riv.

Villain might be laggy, but I don't think he's a maniac by any means.

Id raise to maybe 25$ and go from there, but folding this hand is also not to bad as played

Duly noted. What's your plan then? What are you doing on a brick turn? Any paint turn that isn't a J?

Okay. Then I raise for information. It is a bit pricey, but so is laying down the best hand. I would raise to ~$25. If he repops ya, dump. If he calls and checks the turn, evaluate from there. The turn is tough, too. I probably check behind, and take the free card. I call most average river bets, and definately raise when I hit the straight. I think raising the flop gets u a free card, and will induce a bluff on the riv from hands u beat. Betting the turn isn't bad either, but hands you crush probably fold to a standard turn bet. Either way, the money is probably getting in.

Stack sizes added. I keep forgetting to check that box on the converter.

I had about 2 or 3 orbits of datamined/observed hands against villain. He raised 3 times I think PF (cbet all 3 and took them down) and called a raise or 2 PF. So I knew he was loose and capable of making bets/raises. That's about it.
