I don't like the flop raise in hand 1. And I fold hand 2. He played it exactly like a flush draw. I can't imagine 66 - 88 calling that turn.

Have you seen him bluff scare cards before? Just because he made a big play in hand one doesnt mean he is crafty enough to do this with air.

I fold this one.

so you dont like the raise in hand 1. do you call or fold? he bets 4 into a 11 dollar pot. it seemed like a weak feeler bet. i raised to win the pot right there. i dont like calling cause even if a A/K hits the turn i'll have no idea where i stand and i dont like folding because . . . well it feels weak.

I fold hand #2. I think he raised utg with JJ+ to AJs.

I don't mind the raise-fold at all in hand #1 as I agree you see right where you stand for about as little as you can raise for that information.

I'd have bet the pot on the flop and turn with a guy like that. I guess I'd need an idea of how often he was taking it to the river before I could say for sure. A lot of these types don't go any further than the turn. I'd say he'd played it like a draw all the same.

Hand 1 was played well. Hand 2 depends on his history, if he has made plays in big pots before. If he has made plays or been overly aggro it's a call. If not I lean toward fold. BTW, his raising range pf has to be more than JJ+ AJs+.
