Re: Party 1/2 QQ against 3-bet by MP player preflop
I think I c/r this flop more than leading into it. It shows more strength and is more likely to fold a big non-pair hand. You hate the turn card but I don't mind a b/f here, MP2 calls which is weird. I'm not sure about checking the river. I figure villain for KK.

Yeah, I 3-bet this flop.
I don't understand your river play. Are you afraid he has a 6? |

Re: Party 1/2 QQ against 3-bet by MP player preflop
With his stats I would think he is atleast raising with AA, KK, QQ, from early position. I might have just called and wanted to see a flop against him.
On the turn I would say he doesn't have an Ace, because he did not raise you. |

Villain is middle position. His raising range likely includes AKo, AKs, and AQs, JJ, and TT as well.
Easy cap PF. |

Dr. Modern: I'd be afraid that villain hit his Ace on turn and that's why I'm not betting the river. I don't feel like bet/folding. I've gone this far. For one more bet, I get the pot perhaps, but definitely a read in a hotly contested hand which could be +EV for the rest of the session. Villain has behaved as if we're beaten by many hands he'd play like this. Perhaps I'm missing a bet here though. |

Villain had raised only 4% of his hands. That does not support the idea about a wide 3-bet range. I bet turn because I wanted to know if MP2 has an ace. I concluded he has but I thought I have to call river because the pot was big. |
