Default Nut flush draw OOP, block bet the flop or the turn?

villian is 46/26/3 and is a "showdown muppet"

Should I have check called the flop then block bet the turn instead? I can't block bet the turn after he raised my blockbet on the flop.

raise it up preflop, then bet the flop and shove when he raises, like five bucks to go preflop, then 15 on flop and you can easily shove to his raise

as played nice fold on the turn but i really like the stronger arm line involving a raise
