PS $22 - I\'m not sure what to do...
PS $22, 750 or so started, down to 360. Far away from money.
Reads : UTG is hyper-loose and a donk. His limp means very little to me, 100 chips of dead money. I really doubt he's coming along for the ride. No real reads on CO. What is USUALLY a quick fold for me now made me stop and think - "Should I call this?" PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (9 handed) internettexasholdem.com MP2 (t3305) MP3 (t565) CO (t700) Button (t1200) SB (t1260) Hero (t3834) UTG (t2920) UTG+1 (t1495) MP1 (t8728) Preflop: Hero is BB with 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Mehhh I can't see you being that ahead of his range. I would probably wait here. It depends how bad he is I guess since you are getting some odds on your call.
But overall I think waiting is best here. |

wtf no [/ QUOTE ] Yes, that's my immediate reaction too. I'm interested in hearing some ranges for CO. I actually think it's an even-money call, at least at the $20 level... |

Re: PS $22 - I\'m not sure what to do...
u have to call 600 into 950, and you have to hope that UTG didn't wake up with a monster and push.

equity (%) win (%) tie (%)
Hand 1: 34.5972 % 33.93% 00.67% { Ks3s } Hand 2: 65.4028 % 64.73% 00.67% { 22+, ATs+, KTs+, QTs+, JTs, ATo+, KQo } very loose range. You aren't getting odds, UTG could have limped a monster. Easiest fold ever. |

So I'm wondering whether it was just dumb luck - or do people really get desperate and start pushnig any 2 with a short stack... |

Re: PS $22 - I\'m not sure what to do...
I suppose it's correct if you truly think he is random, probably a rare situation though:
equity (%) win (%) tie (%) Hand 1: 54.0550 % 52.07% 01.98% { Ks3s } Hand 2: 45.9450 % 43.96% 01.98% { random } Against top 50% of hands- marginal: equity (%) win (%) tie (%) Hand 1: 45.1373 % 42.87% 02.27% { Ks3s } Hand 2: 54.8627 % 52.59% 02.27% { 33+, A2s+, K2s+, Q2s+, J4s+, T6s+, 96s+, 86s+, 76s, 65s, A2o+, K5o+, Q7o+, J7o+, T8o+, 98o } ___________________________________ I only see this as being slightly worthwhile if the villian is on super monkey tilt, or if you can put him on any 2 cards and there's some extra chips on the table. |
