Why would I want to \"opt out\" of the Party Red Carpt thing?
I noticed there's an option to "opt out". Can someone explain to me why I'd want to do this (or not do this)?

They redeem your points, right? So maybe some people would rather have the points than the cash.

I see -- has anyone done the math to figure out whether the cash is much worse than, say, the most re-sellable merchandise item? E.g. if I could get an ipod that i could sell on ebay for $200 for the same number of points that they would only redeem for $100, then i'd rather opt out...

taking the cash has many times more value then taking the points and getting items for them(in excess of 10X better i am told)
