Against most bad players, I'd just bet the turn, planning on checking the river. However, when I saw that river card, I'd bet again.

Wookie,

Do you check the turn against good players?

Man, one of these days I should remember to always read the preflop action. I check the flop.

can't see how you had the forsight to bet the flop after it was capped...KK is gold pre, but the A should have slowed you down on the flop. A on the river busted the button's draw and probably gave MP two pair...

The A on the flop is not doom. My earlier advice is solid in the preflop scenario I imagined where hero raised and a number of dudes called. It's scary given this particular preflop action, however.

Why aren't we betting the turn?
