Free College Tip: knowing how hard a class will be
This is a rule that's I've found to be true almost universally:
The difficulty a class is inversely proportional to how long the instructor spends going over the syllabus on the first day. Never was this more confident then when I took Geology 101 and Quantum Mechiancsin the same quarter: Geo 101: We spent the whole first day going over the syllabus and the whole second day discussing "so what do you think geology is" QM: "so, problem sets will be due on friday, there are 2 midterms and a final"

Ha, I never thought about that, but it is so true.
Bio 1001 = 2 days of going over the sylabus Phys 1302 = "There will be a few midterms and a final, Now on to electromagnetic feils..."

HAHA. I had never realized that, but this is a universal truth.
If you're in a small class and you do a "name game" and do not get an A in the class, drop out.
