Default 2/4 KK on another paired board

Only a few hands at table but villain is obviously bad, calling two cold in BB with 94o, etc.

PokerStars 2/4 Hold'em (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is Button with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. CO posts a blind of $2.
2 folds, CO (poster) checks, Hero raises, SB calls, BB calls, CO calls.

Flop: (8 SB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, CO bets, Hero raises, SB calls, BB folds, CO folds.

Turn: (6.50 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB raises...

Final Pot: 12.50 BB

Can this line from him be anything but a 9? Would a check-behind on the turn have been better? What should I do from here? Comments appreciated.

I would just call down after the turn raise.

Yes, this line can be plenty of things besides a 9, especially if he is "obviously bad". Call down.

Maybe this is a fold, but I don't think I could ever do it. His play is just too fishy.

Once the villain coldcalls youre flop raise, and its HU on the turn, I would usually check behind the turn and call the river. A flop cold-call not closing the action on a drawless paired board is a very scary sign even if it is a bad player making this call. I would only bet the turn if I knew the villain really well, and I felt I could confidently fold if he checkraises.

Could be a pocket pair higher than fours.

If he's extremley fishy, and youre very confident he would call two bets cold with a 4 or a small PP here and that he would also call down to river, then I continue to bet on the turn/river here.

But given you're very few number of hands on the guy, I definitly prefer ILP's line.
