Default Ratholing on Party Update...

fwiw I just called party again today to complain about ratholing...

I was told that they have received a large # of complaints about this and are currenly working on a resolution which should come out soon...

I recommend everyone who is against this practice send another email to party so that we can make sure this gets pushed through...

yes so basically what will happen is the people that buy in short will double up, and leave table X and move to table Y. The person on table Y will double up and leave and move to table X. Your games will be the same. Obviously its not this simple, but the general thrust is obvious enough.

If you are real lucky, you will get to the stage where a bad player buys in full, doubles up, and instead of ratholing and sitting down with another full buyin, you will chase him and his bad money off to another table and get a dragon sitting down instead!

Congrats on achieving nothing guys, you really thought it out well

I read this post twice. It makes no sense. Do you even understand how ratholers operate?

Maybe 3rd times a charm? It makes perfect sense to me. Ratholer dumps 5 buy ins then finally doubles up and leaves the table. He then joins another table and doubles up. He leaves this table and if it has been 30 min-1hour then he returns to the original table with the minimum buy in or if not then he goes to another table to wait out the time limit. For those of us who play lots of tables at once of the same limit, a time limit rule changes little. This is how it works on other sites who currently have a time limit...

but if there is only say 7 2k nl tables going, and the ratholer is playing 6, then once he leaves, hes [censored] for an hour. bc he cant just hop to a new table once he leaves them each once.
