Default Overpair on double paired board

This hand was commented on in my session review. The most interesting part is the river. Both villains involved are sensible TAGgy players.

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

Hero check-calls one bet, folds if the action goes bet-raise.

If your villians are indeed TAGgy players then I like the leadout on the flop and turn as I doubt the 7 helped anyone. If either is holding a T then you would've got popped on the turn as they now hold two pair. It's tough to put either of them on the heart draw because of the preflop bet and your read. If CO is TAG and cold calls 3 bets his holdings must be AK[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] or AQ[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. If he had AK he would cap, and while drawing to the nut flush wouldn't he raise the flop to get a free turn card out of you. My gut says they were both drawing to the straight and we are good, but against two villians I don't know I can fire another shot on the river.

prob c/f Ahigh doesn't bet the river and thats about all you beat

if he calls 3 with stuff like 88 A9 then maybe c/c but you are almost always losing when he bets

I think he finds a raise somewhere with the NFD, especially AK/AQ. I think you're good here but I don't know that getting paid off by Ax makes up for the times I'm wrong.

grunch

If CO is likely to bluff this river then check and call for sure... If he is Taggy he probably won't call with a worse hand and you'll get raised when you are beat. c/c looks good.
