Default How many BB are you willing to risk in a coin flip?

Lately I have been seeing more and more push monkeys on my tables. They fold, fold, fold, then push AI PF regardless of the action to them.

So lets setup a situation...

You are in the BB with 22, push monkey is UTG and open pushes, it folds to you. Their range is 22-AA, AKs-ATs, AKo-AJo, but based on their hands shown after a push, they are more likely to hold a big ace than a PP by a 2:1 margin.

How many BB are you willing to risk on what is more times than not a coin flip?

If it got down to 4-5 BB, I'd think about it. Calling open push with 22 for 20BB is laughable imo.

Uh. There's a simple mathematical solution to this question, and I think it's less than 20bb.

Pokerstove it.

What does your stack size have to do with anything? One of us is very

If I know for sure I'm 55/45 to win I will wager whatever I have in front of me. Why not? It's gambling.

I have no idea why there are three different polls for different stack sizes

It has nothing to do with math... Yes there is a mathmatical answer, but that it not what I am interested in.

I am trying to get a sense of the current state of "gambal" in the mid stakes players.

FWIW, I make this call all day and all night with any stack size that is not going to wipe me out. But I get the impression that is not the case for a lot of players at this level from the tone and tember of the posts of late.
