Awkward spot with AK in RR pot
Opponent seems generally solid and tag, has not done anything out of line in the hour or so that I've been at the table. I just feel sorta lost with the turn card and would love some advice.

Re: Awkward spot with AK in RR pot
id check and fold if he bets, i think the great majority of the time your hoping for a split at best, and if u check and call turn what do u do on river. ur paying off valuebets when he has u beat and winning nothing when he doesnt. i might continue with the hand if i had position but oop makes it a fold for me.

Re: Awkward spot with AK in RR pot
I'm not sure how far his call3b range is because you didn't mention or had no reads, but in general vs a TAG he's probably giving you a chance to hang yourself. Check, if he checks behind you might be ahead vs AQ. I don't see why HOV mentioned a split here, I dont see why a TAG would peel with AK vs a 3bet.

Re: Awkward spot with AK in RR pot
Thanks. Yeah, I check folded. Still working on three bet pots as I'm moving into more 6-max play and looking to expand my three bet range accordingly. Thanks for the confirmation.
