Samsung SGH-D807 vs. Motorola Razr V3. Need opinions.

I am going to get a new phone in the next week or so, and I have my choice down to these two. The Razr of course is very popular, and I have heard mostly positive things about it. The SGH-D807 is pretty new, and I haven't heard many customer reviews about it.

Here is what I like about each option.

SGH-807

-Much better camera built in.
-More memory
-Plays MP3s (Not sure how much I would use this though)

Razr

-I prefer flip phones
-My dad already has the sync cable for it
-Very popular phone with mostly positive reviews

Does anyone with the Samsung phone know if you can sync your address book to your computer without purchasing additional software? All opinions would be greatly appreciated.

buy a nokia, you can't live without symbian after you tried it.

PS: razr's seem to have a lot of reliability issues

Try both of them first, ESPECIALLY how they send text messages, how their predictive text thing works, etc. Try the menu systems, see how long after you press a button something happens.

Phones are sold way too much on their best possible features without enough focus on the way things work for 99% of your phone related business (calling and texting).

FWIW I have had the Razr for about ten months and think it is a total piece of crap.

razy sucks, i feel like most people that have one hate it.

I have the samsung, and absolutely love it. The screen looks even bigger and better in person. You also get used to the slider really quick.

How do I get the stupid voice dial thing to work on this thing.

Has anyone had a problem with the screen on the Samsung getting scratched? I usually just keep my cell in my pocket, and this results in phones getting beat up quickly. I could probably get some sort of protective screen like for PDAs to prevent this.

Looks like I'm going to get the Samsung. I have heard nothing negative about this phone, and a lot of people here seem to hate the Razr. Thanks for the feedback.

When you save a number, you have to save it to the Phone instead of the SIM. Then, you have the option on that screen to do voice dial memory set
