Elaborate a little further?
The first thing that comes to my mind is a beer distributor, besides this margarita thing you speak of. |

well 1st thing that comes to mind is a liquor and beer license. if you just want to rent the machine then ok, but a keg is pretty useless without beer in it. and last time i checked most every place has beer distributers that will provide margartia machines for free if you buy the liquor from them. and also liquor license are expensive. like some state 100-250k+ so you gotta be ballin in the 1st place. not a bad idea but you would have to research the market and figure out who else is doing it in the area, and if not why is noone else?

haha, a bar near a major university?!?!
competition! barriers to entry! everybody wants to do it...the bottom line that killed most bars at my university was cost, fickle nature of students ("that bar is sooo yesterday"), seasonality (is that a word?) of students...just to name a few proceed with caution |

Bad Idea. Odds are, there are already numerous liquor stores within a short distance of campus that offer these services already. When your idea isn't original, it's hard to break into a well established market. Try having bikini-clad women accompany the kegs and margarita machines to the parties you rent to. They can operate and service the machines and kegs. Now you're talkin' $$$$$$$.
