With &lt;5 bb I dnot see enough fold equity to make this worth while. I think I have just a short enough stack but just enough chips to balance out. I need those chips already in the pot, especially with 89s or other type hands that would play well against the type of hands that will call.

I'm going to guess it is +EV, if only because the other players are tight as a result of this line of thinking: 9-handed, 12BB push...I don't know what it is and I'm not paying to find out.

With no specific read on limper I fold. However at the 60's there are many loose limpers for which this push is profitable.

Seems like you probably have a thin +EV with these kinds of pushes, until you get caught on to. Once you get caught onto, it hurts this push as well as some of your stronger pushes.
