Default NL $25 6-max - Raised with JTs

No read on opponent. I would think he would re-raise with AA, KK, QQ & probably A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] preflop. I put him on AQ, KQ or QT with 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] being an outside possiblity that I didn't factor in my decision. I also thought of TT, but that's not likely. I assume with the hand range I put him on means it's an automatic call?

My read is villian is protecting his AQ, KK, or AA. Could be a better flush draw, but I doubt it. You are 33% to make your flush. Fold.

If he has AQ, KK, or AA that means that I still have 3 jacks and 2 tens plus the 9 flush outs. Also, I don't see why you don't think he'd re-raise with AA or KK preflop.

If villian has one of these hands, hero has 2 chances to hit 15 outs making him a slight favorite in the hand. With the dead money in the pot already, hero is getting about 1.5 to 1 odds. According to your analysis, this is an easy call.

I still make this call. Occasionally you will run into TT or 44 and that will suck. QT doesn't leave you in a good spot either since a J won't even help you. I do think you see AQ, KQ, QJ enough times to warrant your 1.5-1 odds. I call here.

EDIT - Sorry, I miscounted too fast - 14 outs instead of 15 above. Still the odds warrant a call there.

Apparently I was too hasty in my response.

Good discussion of a very similar hand here

Btw, thank you both for your replies. I'd greatly appreciate one or two more opinions on this hand. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the replies. My read on his hand range was correct. He had QT and I didn't improve.
