I think its played perfectly, folding the turn raise. I even like the amounts.

looks good to me, but sometimes i'll check the flop i dont like checking the turn very much since you know he'll bomb it and then what do you do?

i think a turn bet is neccesary since he might fold a weak 9 or any other small pocket pair he called the flop with. and if you c/c the turn you take away the chance of getting him to fold the small pairs, so yea played v well imo.

I wouldn't bet the turn.

I would imagine villian knows your range here is AsKoQoJo heavy and even if not he knows your are going betfold with a hell of a lot of other hands. Also backed up by youve been aggressive, he's the only other aggressive player, your postflop aggression is insane and in the past he's been making thin calls, maybe floats, against you. So i wouldn't be very confident of what he would do with 98 77 and i wouldn't think it's a large part of his range anyway.

this would actually be a good play vs cake if stacks werent deep but obviously it's stupid as hell in this situation

yve, do you have any reads on the guy's post flop play? preflop stats are meaningless here. dont bet this turn without reads. check/fold
