===============

Is this an obvious insta-shove?

I mean, thats how I see it, with the pot 1/4 of our stack and us having AK and all. (I mean, I'd be almost jizzing myself waiting to shove this in a STT, but I don't know if its different with the MTT structure.)

What if the UTG+1 doesn't limp? Do we 3x or something other than shove here?

Does it matter if we held AQ or 88 or some similar hand?

I'm not sure I shove this right here without knowing more. Limper is the big stack at the table and can justify pushing lots of PPs and biggish suited cards to try and take you out, and if he sniffs our you not having a PP he could justify playing any two cards. Mitigating circumstances might warrant a shove, but the details aren't laid out. If you're multi-tabling looking for a few big scores maybe this is the way to go, or if you've already cashed it's a no-brainer. If there are only four cashing you might try something smaller to leave yourself one more chance, even though this is probably the best one. The best victim here would be a middle stack IMO... let the more experienced advisors guide you here, I'm just as wet as you.

Limper had been limping a lot. not a TON, but enough that I'm not overly worried. If happens to have 44 this time and decide to gambool or whatever...so be it.

Its a $4/180, don't think I said.

If we don't push - what ARE we doihng?

Agreed. You are playing for 5 community cards here, not three.

Even if there was no open limp, I'm still shoving here.

Yeah, I'd pretty much be shoving this regardless of the action before me.

instashove...unless you really really want action, in which case I could see a raise to 1000, call any push, and push any flop.

however if this is a 4/180 man, I would expect your shove to get called by any pair, AT+, KQ, KJ, QJ.

Heck in a 20/180 man last night at FT this guy called a shove for all his chips with K9s. ???
