Small overpair, oop
I have trouble with these hands.
Live 2-5 NL. Villain has played 7-8 hands in several hours, mostly limping. He has around $350 and I cover. Six people limp and I check 88 in the Big Blind. Flop ($37) comes 7 6 4 rainbow. Checked to Villain in MP, who bets $30. Only I call. Turn ($97) is a 9. I check. Villain bets $25. I Call. River ($147) is a T, no flush possible. I check, Villain bets out $50. I c-raise all-in. I'm not sure if I should be leading out in these situations on the flop or turn, or c-raising the turn, especially to such weak bets as in this case. On the river I was prepared to call a reasonable bet if I didn't improve. Villain appeared to bet river faster than other streets, and I thought about 10 seconds before raising the river. Thanks. |
