Default SNGPT - Fold everything except AA?

I was messing with SNGPT today and tried this situation:
UTG t2000
BTTN t2000
SB t10000
Hero t6000
Blinds 300/600
Hero is tight and pushes with 44+,A7s+,A9o+,KJs+ (i know, his real range is waaaay bigger, but its a theorethical question).
Its -EV to call with KK here. That got me thinking, should we be soooo scared of the big stack like this? If we put villain with 22+,A2+,K2+,Q2s+,Q6o+,J7s+,J9o+,T8s+,98s its still breakeven with QQ. I think i have a pretty big leak in my game then, i would call with QQ and JJ in a second.

Your question's a little confusing. I'm assuming SB is the one doing the pushing.

You're really not that far ahead of UTG/Button; if either doubles up, they're almost even w/ you if the blinds fall right. So there's zero chance I'm folding KK or QQ here. Other hands are obviously tougher. I think I'd call JJ+.

1. Who you calling Jesus?

2. Which post are you addressing?

1. I dunno, since I do not believe in this Jesus character.
2. I was addressing the original poster.

If I believe the range you originally stated then I fold. If I think it is like your revised range then I call with KK. There are certainly times when other considerations move me off ICM based conclusions but given the info you provided here I'm folding KK against a tight villian.

And you fold JJ against the second range?

I'm still not sure what your point is. KK is only 70% vs. any A, so if those make up a high enough % of Villain's range and he can bust you, it makes sense to fold in situations like this where you are a comfortable second.

I had one yesterday with the following stacks:

blinds 300/600
CO 24
BT 213
SB 13700
BB 6000 or so

Can't model it exactly in SNGPT but in SB I shove and BB calls w AKo. EV of -7% or so (the majority of the buyin) vs. any 2.

Anyway, the key point is that you should be avoiding the big stack whenever possible, even with good cards, when you are in a comfortable second place. Play around with some pushing ranges into the big stack if he it is all loose about calling (which he can afford to be as the big stack), and you'll see what I mean.
