Default Time To Update This Inaccurate Representation of Man

I stopped off at some Neanderthal exhibit in San Diego a while back, and they had the Time Line of Man presented in life-size sculpters. And like in the photo below, they had the time line ending with some caucasian dude. Now I've been seeing this time-line representation (ending with a caucasian) in books since the early 70's. And with what we know today, in regards to the geographical origin of man, isn't it about time to update the Time Line of Man drawings we see in text books and museums?

No, clearly it's wrong because it's sexist; it should be a woman.

A black, gay, pro-socialist woman coming out of the abortion clinic.

...

What, are people like me supposed to apologize for being white?

Do you want it to be africans because they were the first or native americans because they were last?

The Timeline should end with an African, because any variation of HomoSapien that came after da black man is irrelevant to the timeline.

I guess the underlying point of my OP was to poke fun at what happens when you put a caucasian in charge of accurately depicting something they take pride in. In my OP the example is an ape-like creature emerging into Man. Here's a more historical example of what happens when you put a gentile (caucasian) in charge of the artwork:

But it isn't just caucasians; anybody who's been to China has noticed that Colonel Sanders is morphing into a more asian-looking figure.

Jesus looks the way he does for marketing purposes.

This is Jesus for black people.

there was a progam a year or two ago on either the history channel or the discovery channel that dealt with Jesus..they spent the entire episode...(over an hour I thing) talking about what Jesus looked like...

He didn't look anything like the Jesus we "know"

but they made some assumptions...I remember them mentioning that there was very little chance that he kept his hair long..since long hair was supposedly very nontraditional but I can't remember if they offered any more evidence for this..and I don't know if they went to the lengths to claim that long hair would hinder his cause

But, Yes, it's pretty clear that he was very dark skinned like nearly everyone around him...big nose etc...

he like of looked like Lev Tevia(sp?) from fiddler on the roof
