WSEX and mouse slowdown

Just tried WSEX poker for the first time and I noticed that my mouse considerably slows down when the program is running. It seems to slowdown when the action is on me, or if I'm still involved in a pot. Anyone else notice this?

I have my mouse sensitivity pretty high because I have two 24" widescreen LCDs and have a lot of desktop space to cover. When the slowdown occurs, it seems like the mouse sensitivity goes all the way to the slowest setting, and then resumes back to its normal speed two or three seconds after I have folded.

How do I stop this?

I have never encountered this problem. Please send me your monitors so I can verify these difficulties.

After experimenting a bit, it seems the slowdown occurs only when a WSEX window is in focus. If any other window is in focus, the mouse returns to normal speed.

I doubt the monitors would be the source of the problem, but they are both Dell 2405FPW.

lol no the monitor can't be at fault. Very weird issue though. try restarting your computer.

I figured out the problem.

I have "disable acceleration in games" enabled in the mouse properties. Seems the WSEX app acts as a game. Disabling this resolved the problem. I've played on over 10 other sites and never had this problem. Guess its just the way the WSEX app was built.

I have something a little like this on WSEX but only if I have the Party application running.
