Default Should I go across the street and be on TV today?

I just walked across the street from my office to go to a deli for a bagel, and I saw a TV crew setting up. Twenty feet away from them, I see a guy sitting on a bench eating some breakfast. I recognize him as George Duran, host of Ham on the Street on the Food Network.

I told him I enjoyed his show and he said thanks and told me to come back a little later when they were filming. I'm thinking about heading back across the street to taste some of his bizarre creations and be on the Food Network. Should I do it?

Make sure you hold up a sign that says, "OOT Rulz!" You have to make sure you spell it wrong too so that it has a lasting effect. j/k

Definitely, not often you get to see yourself on tv! I would do it.

Too bad I wasn't prepared for this - I would have worn my ”2+2OOT4LIFE” t-shirt. Damnit.

Why not. Be prepared to be asked a seemingly simple question, like "What's the difference between white and yellow American cheese?" You might just be made a fool of on national TV.

ENJOY!

Without checking out OP's link, the fact that there is a program with such a title really makes it look like someone was scraping the bottom of the ideas barrel pretty hard

Doesn't your mother own a video camera?

I hate people who find it thrilling to be on tv. I could understand it fifty years ago, when it was new. But this is silly.
