Screen Scraping .. kind of..PP only

I have a DLL that I created that allowes you to querry a PP game, you can ask for the player name for a seat, chip amount for a seat, board cards etc. (doesn't use chat)

Is there an interest out there for this type of component that is only usefull to other developers?

Oh yeah, I use it to overlay the "M's" ontop of the PP window.

wow.... I can see this being really useful for a lot of other projects/sites. I assume you're doing a memory scan? Perhaps we could take a peek at some source? I'd love to try to see if we couldn't extend it for FT or PS.

Well depending on how he implemented this it could be extended to different sites. Then we could make plugins to mine, or do tablenavigator like stuff (automatic PSBs for example)..

cool.. Nice to know there is interest.
When I said PP I meant party, but it works with paradise too, and most sites actually, its just that a little bit or work needs to be done depending on each implementation and the exact info you are looking for. For all sites but party it means that you need to use the default 4 color deck. For party it doesnt matter. and runstop, I don't use ocr, I mainly hook the windows messages (but dont rely on the dealer chat) with a few other cute tricks.

Right now, I have it set up to fire events when certain things happen.. Ill list them as soon as I get a chance, but I could also do the reverse and let you querry the component for the data you wanted.

As far as datamining paradise, that would be pretty easy technically, just time consuming with the myopic details about what exactly to track.

If anyone knows Poker Tracker very well, it seems like it should be possible to do direct writes to the DB (but would have to worry about Access and PostgreSQL) but you could have your own paradise db as well, but I doubt i could put in the time to make it as extensive as PT is.

Oh and as far as table navigator stuff, I have looked at that but not done anything yet, it seems like there are a few decent products already, and it is just so much easier to get that info than the game state stuff. (the lobby windows you can trivially get the table info with basic api calls)

Looks like this could help improve on the bet-pot script, so it doesn't have to scroll through the text. Becaues after a few hours of playing it starts to lag a bit. Not a huge problem, but would be nice if it didn't have to do that.
