KQ in various scenarios (10+1$ single table SNG)
Hi,
After discussion with a friend I decided to make a post about KQ and different scenarios. What is the correct way of playing them in these situations (single table SNG, 10+1$) : Scenario 1) blinds 10/20 9 players, hero is UTG+1 with 1500 chips, UTG folds. hero? scenario 2) blinds 10/20 9 players, hero is OTB with 1500 chips, 3 limpers, hero? scenario 3) blinds 15/30 6 players, hero is UTG with 1300 chips, hero? scenario 4) blinds 50/100 6 players, hero is UTG with 1300 chips, hero? scenario 5) blinds 15/30 6 players, hero is OTB with 1300 chips, 1 limper, hero? scenario 6) blinds 150/300 Player 1 - 1200 chips Hero - 3000 chips SB - 4500 chips BB - 5200 chips Player 1 limps, hero? Cant find of anymore scenarios but if you can feel free to add them. I know some of them, like the last one is very read dependant, but then I like to know how to play if player 1 is aggressive and how to play if he is loose. Also, if it matters if they are sooted or not also let us know. Im in a downswing at the moment so every little play is being critically reviewed by myself, and im starting to wonder if playing KQ is a permanent leak. Best Regards David |

Oh, and player1 in scenario 6 is not aggressive - he just pf limped for 1/4 of his stack. He's a superdonk.

Fold PF in all scenarios.
As for scenario 6, you're going to be looking at Ax enough where you'll be cursing KQ. I'd wait for a better spot in this bubble situation. KQ is just one of those hands that commonly ends up being dominated or a 3:2 dog. Trouble. |

Re: KQ in various scenarios (10+1$ single table SNG)
1) i cleck the "fold" box as soon as i receive the cards
2) i limp sometimes, but i like a fold too. 3) instafold. if you limp in this and #1 it is a major leak, imho. 4) fold 5) fold 6) player 1 is not agressive. he has 4BBs, in the bubble and he limped, how can he ever be agressive??? oh, and i fold this very quickly. let the big stacks fight him... |

Never limp in scenario 5.
As for pushing scen 6, what happens if blinds wake up with a hand? Don't discount them! |
