Default YouWager Casino - Misleading bonus deal (long)

I found YouWager casino on the casinobonuspages new casino listing. Its a $300/$300/$15K (25xd+b) bonus. The WR is high, but I figured I'd bet it big trying to make a decent score (not to mention I'm starting to run out of casinos to do that I havent been banned from or that have terrible offers).

The T&C's are somewhat confusing as regards to the bonus. It never says anywhere in them how to get the bonus. All it says is that you have to play with your bonus money, and once you finish the WR, any money in your bonus account will be transferred to your cash account. I opened live chat, told the person on the other end I didnt understand how I get my bonus, but I had deposited and wanted to play blackjack. She said, "Go ahead", so I figured everything was fine.

I finished up the WR (or so I thought), and checked my balance, but I hadnt been credited with the bonus. I again went to live chat and asked where my bonus was. CS says that I never "asked" for it, so it was never credited. I told her that the T&C's dont say anywhere that you have to "ask" for the bonus, and when I chatted with her earlier in the evening and told her I was confused about how to get the bonus, she never said that I had to "ask" for it. Well, now she offers to credit my bonus account, but I have to wager another $15K to get the money out. This clearly isnt acceptable since I just wagered $15K, and should have earned the bonus already. We went back and forth a bit in chat, and nothing was resolved but she did offer to escalate this to a manager. Now I have to check back tomorrow to see if they will credit my bonus or if I have to wager the $15K again to get any of it. Fortunately I ended up $200 without the bonus, so the evening wasnt a total loss.

Interestingly, they allow any game to complete the wager requirement (including roulette). I think if you really wanted to be a major whore, you could make $15K of no risk wagers on roulette pretty easily to clear the bonus. Their T&C's are very poorly worded, but they dont have any of the normal bonus abuser terms in them. I'm pretty sure if they end up screwing me over, I'm going to take that approach to clearing the bonus.

I'll post back on what I hear about this, but just a heads up if you choose to play there, make sure you "ask" for your bonus when you deposit.

Default Question to WLVRYN

First thanks for the HU on this casino.

I'm a relative noob in bonus whoring and have appreciated your helpful posts. This is my question:

Since you mention being banned at casinos, could you make any suggestions on how to Not get banned (or delay being banned) if you had it to do over again at any of the casinos you played?
TIA

Worring about banning is -EV in my book.

Others may disagree.

Ken

PS- if you really don't want to get banned lose money

I respect your posts, but I totally disagree. I'm not "worried".

What I want to do is delay bannings (if possible) at monthlies, to allow me to do future-month bonuses. That's +EV

I dont think I would have done anything differently to avoid getting banned anyplace. I'm trying to maximize my winnings, and by playing casino games that have a house advantage, I have to take advantage of bonuses. That has led me to get banned at places. So be it. Once I run out of good places to play, I'll just go back to playing poker more than I do now.

And except for a few places, the monthlies arent worth enough for me to worry about anyway. Fortunately I dont think I've been banned at any of the good monthly deals just yet.

Tell me exactly how you plan on making no risk wagers in Roulette. I am intrigued.

Lose money. Cover play doesn't matter on one-off casinos, and while it might be theoretically useful on casinos that have monthlies, I have never found this to actually be true in fact and I have hit every monthly I know of for two years. They have someone look at the accounts every few months, and they ban the unprofitable accounts. When they figure out that you're unprofitable, they ban you. That's why lots of people get banned from casinos on the same day as happened with Euro/Cherry earlier this month. They don't bother to look closely enough at your account to ever even know if you've done cover play at all. You are outsmarting yourself.

But I should think that you doing cover play might be +EV for me (because promotions stay profitable longer, thereby delaying the need for review), so I'd encourage you and everyone else to do as much as possible.

Yeah, what he said! If you really think these casino managers are going through each account with a fine tooth comb seeing what mix of games you play and for how long, you underestimate how busy they are. They look at a spreadsheet of accounts that have shown net winnings for X months in a row and ban them. Real losers will fire off an email protesting (which might prompt a personal review) and the whores won't say anything. It is just a part of the game.
