Default HSNL Posters and Variance

Azk and me were having this discussion on AIM.
If someone were willing to stake you and pay you $1 more than ur hourly winrate or winrate/100 hands over 5 million or 10 millions hands (any well-defined measure of your winrate), i.e. you would be playing poker for him, he takes the wins and the losses, you get paid a dollar more than whatever you normally make on average.
Would you take it?

I'd say no because I hope to improve and move up. But can you clarify how long the deal would last? If I could guarantee my hourly rate for life and not have it depend on the quality of games I'd be tempted to take it.

So do you get paid 1 dollar more than your past winrate that is agreed upon ahead of time?

thabadguy,

Maybe I'm misreading the post. I read it as :

"Someone makes $200/hr. I offfer them $201/hr, and no variance. I think only a few people would take this. Ari thinks no-one would take this."

Correct?

It would be so much easier to put in the hours without having to worry about winning/losing.
