Default Poker Superstars

I have this burning curiousity as to why Moneymaker still gets promoted after several years of abysmal poker.
I know of only one major event he finished high in the last several years.
Last night we were treated again as to how NOT to play poker by the donk.
I`m sure if it werent for Pokerstars.com this guy would be back in his accounting cubicle grinding out enough for the nickel-dime game online.
I just dont get it.

I don't think he plays very much anymore. He probably signed a multi-year deal with Stars to put him into some events and he's just enjoying his life after winning the lottery. Not really a big deal. I don't understand why there's not a site where people bash people for winning the state lottery or powerball - "... i like how he picked 4-7-18-33 but he had no business picking 35 as the powerball number and just luckboxed his way into the jackpot when the river came a 35!"

Well I understand why people may hate on some of these tournament "winners," who seem to not just get lucky, but retarded lucky. Like for example Kido Pham donking off his entire stack against the tight Hachem with j/10 off and flopping trips.

Anyway, I think I'm honest enough in my skill level, that if you ever see me win something like the main event this would be my speech...
"I would like to say thank you to God, or whoever it was that put that horseshoe up my ass today. I am a good poker player, but I got lucky against the best, and the worst, and am most likely a one hit wonder. If you never see me at another final table ever again in my life, don't be surprised. But for now, I will take my bracelet, and my $12,000,000 and see if I can party myself to death over the next week...thank you."

Poker Superstars sucks. It is such a crapshoot. Nothing but all in after all in. A luck fest

Actually, they've changed the structure so that there's a lot of play in the elim rounds. Tonight's show, for example, had a lot of post-flop play.

Tonight's show also had a great Hellmuth line (after limp-reraising all-in with A2 vs. Esfandiari's AQ): "God, why don't I ever draw out against these suckers?"

I feel bad for Hellmuth. He is the hero of all the poker players that don't get delt anything, get sucked out on constantly and rarely draw out anybody.

Hellmuth wins plenty of pots going in w/ the worst of it w/ such quotes as "I had ace high on the flop..." and "I thought you were weak..."
