Seeing as how I'll be making one soon I've been putting some thought into this. I think you should do one of two things:

1. Write about some element of poker strategy you had an "a-ha!" moment about one day, and how it helped your game.

2. Write about your personal experiences (how you got started, what your progression has been like, toughest obstacles, most rewarding parts, etc.).

I think readers get the most out of those two kinds of posts.

EDIT: I think it's MUCH better to write about something that interests you, instead of something that may be of interest to the rest of us but may not strike your fancy. The more interested you are in what you write about, the better it will be.
