The person who was suppossed to edit it probably got fired though.

Unless this was done on purpose, I doubt this person got fired. I work at a TV station and mistakes happen, thats part of live TV. Im sure there were alot of pissed off people, but doubt anyone was fired.

I cant wait for something like this to happen at work. The funniest thing said so far was during a story about protestors filming people going in and out of an adult bookstore...

"Protestors held signs and filmed people going in and out of the porn star."

Well, it may not be his fault, but depending on how many complaints the station got, they could have to fire him to save face. I've known of several people in radio getting fired for similar technical problems leading profanity going on air.

I wouldn't say his career is shot though.
