Default Trying to close Party Account

Since I am no longer playing on Party, I have decided to officially close my account. Do I just email them saying I want to close the account (and also terminate the IGM pay link to my bank obv)?

I emailed accountinfo over 48 hours ago and still no response.

shmeeeeeee?

usually all it takes. You'll get a "thank you for playing at party. We have closed your account per your request email" maybe they closed teh account and then never sent it off. Can you still log on?

I just tried to log on, and it said my account was frozen due to temporary security issues. They are probably in the midst of closing it I suppose.

I would appreciate a confirmation email though.

If you close your account is it possible to either get them to open it, or create a new account using the same information?

no that's as far as they will go, "freezing" your account. your account is never actually "closed", just temporary suspension until you email them to reactivate it.

They only freeze it because technically if you close it, you'd probably find some loophole that allows you to open a new one... or something like that. And of course, since they want you to come back

I called them and asked them to close it, they offered to freeze it for up to 6 months and I told them that I just wanted it closed. After asking me if I was sure and why I wanted it closed and all of that they ended up doing it with me being on the phone a total of 5 minutes or so. Much easier than waiting for emails I think.
