Default Question about Mansion

I arb and bonus chase by betting at 2 books. I have been using Pinnacle for my home book, but am interested in trying out Mansions sporting exchange due to their very nice lines.

I have one issue that I do not understand though. I went through the tutorial and it says the following.

"In the event that another player takes the available volume immediately prior to you submitting your bet then your bet will automatically become an offer."

Does this mean that my bet at Mansion may not always go through? And can you cancel the offer that this situation creates?
Should I bet at Mansion first to make sure that bet goes through?

Thanx guys,

Briton

What happens if part of the available volume is used by another better? Does it make your bet for the amount still available and make an offer for the rest, or does the whole thing go to offer...or what

Thanx

Brit

Yes, you get less and the rest goes up as an offer.

That sucks. I would rather just cancel the whole bet. Is that possible?

If it's still pending as an offer. If you got part, you're stuck with that. Sometimes this happens to me on an arb and i have to take the rest at a worse price to balance my books.
