I regretted this river bet as soon as I made it since his most likely hand is probably two 9s here right? Check/call or check/fold this river? Is my 3rd street okay? I have fairly live overs, pretty live clubs and one of this dude's 9s is gone.

I generally won't re-raise this hand on 3rd. I don't want to have to take the lead on 4th if I brick out. Also, if you don;t raise, he very well might bet into you on 4th, enabling you to pull off a check-raise.

I guess your question is on 7th. I would bet here if this player is the type who will call you down with one pair.

I honestly don't think that he would/should call here with 9s. If he had raised with a J or better up or reraise 3rd I think this would be a much better bet.
