Re: good time for a squeeze? NL100 6max
meh. i generally don't try to squeeze fish, they don't recognize strength, don't like to fold, and don't care if they are closing the action or not. also, KJ isn't a great hand to squeeze with in my opinion. it is often dominated, and it actually has some value. i prefer to do this with junk, suited connectors, etc.

Re: good time for a squeeze? NL100 6max
No. This is a really bad spot to squeeze. An UTG raise from a tighter player usually means a premium hand. You want to squeeze against players who are raising light a lot.
Also, as tannenj said, KJo is a terrible squeezing hand because you don't fare well against the range of what will call you. Suited connectors are the best hands to squeeze with because you can almost always tell whether or not you're ahead post-flop. |
