Default PartyPoker response to new point structure

I sent:

[ QUOTE ]
I see that you have changed the way PartyPoints are earned. I used to
get 24 when playing 10/20 jackpot (Monster, now) tables, now I get 15 -
a huge difference. This drastically changes the amount of play needed
to earn the 100 points required for the Summer Sizzler, and is really
quite unreasonable.

How can Party possibly justify changing a promotion's requirements in
the middle of the promotion?

Their response:

Thank you for contacting us.

There has been a change in the structure of partypoints. The points
issued for monster tables are reduced. However, there are a lot of monster
tables to play on as in you can earn more partypoints for the summer
sizzler promotion.

Monster promotion is a huge promotion where in you can earn $25
million. This is going to be the largest freeroll series in the history of
poker. You can be a part of the promotion by playing on the monster
tables.

Thats just all kinds of awesome.

Yes, we lowered the amount of points you can earn, but hey, you can now play on more tables!

I didn't bother with this promotion since at 50c/1 its just too many hands a day. Were I playing though, it was nice of them to raise 20 raked hands from 4 points to 5, but its unbelievably lame and unfair to change the terms of a promotion halfway through.

Were too many people doing it for their liking or did they just think people wouldn't care?!?

this is the attitude that i've always hated about party. They truly believe we're all idiots. The best thing to do is to look elsewhere to play.

i can't play more than 4-5 tables w/o the lag timing me out since all these [censored] updates, so all those monster tables won't do either one of us any good.

can we just partition party to not do a goddamn thing from now on? just keep the servers on... please.

Thankfully I only play on their site for the bonuses and the occasional time I can't find a table anywhere else...never really did care for the site that much.

So now you have to play about 140 hands and before you had to play about 100 hands. Oh noez!!1 Unless you one-table you can play those 40 hands in 10 minutes.

I guess it kind of sucks because 9 points is a whole lot if you're saving up to buy something from the partystore or doing their new promotion but to whine about the sizzler is kinda overdoing it.

If I knew about the change yesterday when I was playing, it would have been more difficult for me to get the points, but I still could have. Since I didn't know about the change however, I (only) played 42 $11 SNGs, netting me 84 points instead of the 126 I expected (and had been earning the rest of the month).

Changes like this shouldn't be done in secret without notice. Party shouldn't give me a bonus $ amount to earn based upon a points target and then change the way points are earned without letting me know. This is absolute garbage!
