my posts tend to get few replies. maybe i suck and post boring hands, not sure. anyhow, here are two hands that could warrant discussion from 2/4 nl 6max on ub. and if anybody remembers my previous posts, tell me how/what makes them not that interesting so i can make my posts better. thanks.

pot= 315, 180 to me, i?

i'm in sb with QQ no [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2 limpers i pot
first limper calls

pot: $50 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] i make it 44, he minraises.. plan?

he strikes me as kind as a looser player, one of the "targets" he has 350-110=$240 left i cover, pot is now $170ish

these hands are fairly common spots, perhaps the 2nd moreso than the first. a lot of value can be had by playing them correctly, and i'm not sure most people do.

i'd love to hear any thoughts...

Shove the first one for sure. Second one against a bad player I probably call the minraise and shove a safe turn.

I'd probably push both. In hand 2 he's getting about 2-1 if you push? I can understand calling and pushing a safe turn, but with these stack sizes and with me putting anyone who min-raises down as a fish I'd not mess about and chuck them in.

posts aren't stupid, you should have led the flop in hand 1 and looked to get it in if raised, as of now, easiest shove in the world, hand 2 i just shove...

thanks for all of the posts thus far i really appreciate them.

if lead flop in hand 1, how much? and what are we putting button on?

hand 2, we're obv not deep enough to 3bet and get away from the hand at any point. so i guess what's difficult for me is deciding on the flop whether to try to get the money in or not-- i also feel like pushing is kind of exploitable b/c i am auto-paying off sets and 2pair hands that minraise me when i a oop, decreasing the value of my overpairs because good players can exploit position on me in position in these scenarios. (i.e. a good player in position can check-call all of my bets when i am in the blinds/they have position on me and then minraise boards like this with nfd/air/set and force me to make decisions for my stack risking essentially "only" 25-30% of their stack)

-- are ppl who advocate call/push safe turn check/folding a diamond? openpushing a safe turn? or c/r-ing?

ps is same being done as in hand 2 for 2flush hands where we hit tptk e.g. AKo? again this seems exploitable
