I'm not that high on this concept. Watching what are at best second and third rate fighters isn't that exciting for me, especially when most aren't going to get any better at this point in their career.

At first I thought the "comeback" idea was good, but now I think it really sucks, cause most of these guys really suck.

This season is going to have a considerably better talent pool than the last season.

Mikey Burnett of the Lion's Den was awesome. If he wins this thing, he could give Hughes, Penn, St. Pierre, and the other smaller guys a run for their money.

Overall, yes. But at least those guys are improving, and at least the show produced one guy who has real potential. If they included 155ers on this show, they could have had a ton of young talent rather than a bunch of washed up bums.
I'll certainly give it a chance but my hopes aren't high. |

I agree about the 1ightweights. That's my favorite weightclass, those guys are so fast. |

Because most are older and not that talented. I don't see any reason that this cast would be better overall in 2-3 years than they are now; they might be worse.

[/ QUOTE ] this is very true, but they are also building guys who can draw money for them, so this will give some of the guys a chance to get their personalities over. I also think that guys like Mikey Burnett and Pete Spratt never really were given as much of a chance as they deserve. Its not like they are grabbing a bunch of king of the cage guys and putting them in there. All of these guys have experience in pancrase, shooto, etc. What I am surprised is that UFC hasn't tried to bring in Daniel Puder for their HW division |
