Default Lay down trips, top kicker w/1 overcard on board?

Villain is 36/10/4 (only 31 hands).

What does this turn overraise mean? It commits villains stack although isn't a full push. Is laying this down completely weak-tight? Or is it possible that he's appearing to protect against a flush draw when we really has the made full house?

Certainly a full house is possible, but I hope folding isn't best, because I wouldn't be able to get away from this hand.

Your play so far kind of represents an ace that somehow got to the turn (A6?) or a hand like 87 or 55 that's trying to represent the ace, doesn't it? I realize you could have 9x like you actually do, but I'm thinking that won't be Villain's first thought if he's looking at trips himself.

You've shown no strength the entire hand. Your donk bet here could well represent a paired A. The raise from him as a result could be any 9, a lower pair trying to blow you off, or a flush draw. The range is just a tad bit bigger than 66 or A9. Seems like an easy push given your lack of a range so far.

The more I thought about this as I was posting I kept thinking - dumb, dumb, dumb laydown!

Somehow in the moment I just sensed A9 from him and layed it down.

But is $10 into a $14 pot really a donkbet? It's 2/3 pot. Not that it would have mattered in this particular hand, but any other thoughts on the size of my turn bet?

donkbet: betting out on the turn or river after calling the previous street.

Hero..... makes a terribly easy decision and pushes him in for his last $27. The ace didn't change anything, if he was beating you with A9 or 66 before, he's still beating you. But we're going to the felt with this regardless. He could have 89, 9T, 9J, 9Q, AK, AQ, etc.
